Faith Stepping Stones Classes
Summer 2012 Schedule
Faith Stepping Stones (FSS) provides parents with useful tools to carry out their role as primary faith mentors to their children. Each class is carefully created to target specific ages. Parents attend with their children (childcare is provided for siblings). This is also a great way to connect with other Southwood families during the summer break from Sunday School.

This month’s needs include:
macaroni & cheese, canned fruit, jelly, peanut butter, crackers, and canned meals. .
Jazz Sunday
June 3
Invite a friend to attend Jazz Worship at 8:30, 9:45 or 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 3. Music is written and directed by Tom Larson, Professor of Music at UNL.
Stepping Up

Wednesdays, June 20–August 8
6:30–8:00 p.m.
Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent, will take you through Psalms 120-134 which make up one of the most beautiful portions of the Bible.

Do you have a baby or child needing to be baptized? Attend this 1 hour class and unwrap God’s gift of Holy Baptism.

This coming Sunday is Senior Sunday. Come celebrate the blessings that all our seniors have been to our church and join us in praying for their next step in their journey of faith. We’ll reflect as a congregation on the hope we have all been called to in this life and how to act out this hope, no matter how young or old.
