Sunday School Ages & Class Times

  • 3 year olds (potty trained & age 3 by 9/1/09) - 8th grade -- 8:30, 9:45, & 11:00
  • Special Needs Class** (mixed ages 3 - 8th grade) -- 8:30
  • 9th - 12th grade -- 11:00 (registration not required)
  • Adults -- 9:45 (registration not required)
Middle School Confirmation (Grades 6-8) programs are available on Wednesday nights. Learn more about Confirmation at Southwood.

**Special Needs Sunday School

Southwood offers a special needs Sunday School class at 8:30 a.m. during the school year. This class is a place where children of all abilities can learn about God, while giving their parents a chance to attend worship. The special needs class is led by an Occupational Therapist, Para Educator, Speech-Language Pathologist, and a School Psychologist, all who work for Lincoln Public Schools. Members of our congregation who enjoy working with children with special needs also help with our Special Needs Sunday School.
