3 year olds - 5th graders (Kids with special needs are welcome!)*
No Cost

Rainforest Adventure is a fun-filled, God-centered experience that kids will love! Every day is packed with activities designed to help kids experience the importance of caring for God's creation through worship, kid-friendly Bible stories, and fun-filled activities.  Invite a friend!

Kids with Special Needs Are Welcome

We want VBS to be a place where children of all abilities can learn about God. VBS will be staffed with a team of volunteers that includes an Occupational Therapist, Para Educator, Speech-Language Pathologist, and a School Psychologist all who work for Lincoln Public Schools.

You Can Help Make Rainforest Adventure Happen!

We have lots of opportunities for adults and youth to get involved at Rainforest Adventure. Come for just one day or for the whole week. (This is a great opportunity for Confirmation students to earn S.O.S. points). Here are some of the ways you can play:

  • Decorating Team – Decorate common areas with the Rainforest Adventure theme
  • Rainforest Guide  – Guide students as they rotate through the activity sites each day
  • Storytelling Team – Involve kids in interactive storytelling
  • Science Team – Guide kids in exploring the daily Bible story  through science
  • Craft Team – Help kids create fun crafts that explore the daily Bible story
  • Game Team – Lead games that reinforce the daily Bible story and theme
  • Music Team – Teach kids songs and actions that reinforce the daily Bible story and theme
  • Snack Team – Prepare and serve yummy snacks
  • Pizza Party Helpers – Set up and serve at the Friday afternoon pizza party
  • Clean-Up Crew – Help clean up following the end of VBS on Friday
