Senior Pastor
As Senior Pastor, Pastor Greg directs and leads the church staff and works with leadership development within the church. He loves to preach and teach the faith. He believes that the church is at its best when it is grounded in worship, growing in faith and fellowship, and committed to serving the needs of the community and world. When God's people come together around a common cause the light of Christ shines bright, and lives are transformed. That's what makes serving at Southwood such a Joy!

Associate Pastor
Pastor Michael Ryan is a husband, father of two children, and privileged to serve Southwood Lutheran as a pastor. Pastor Ryan is the Pastor of Prayer and Care. He will make every effort to be a supporting caring presence during crisis and significant times when made aware of them.

Pastor Sara leads Southwood's Small Group and Adult Education ministries. Sara is excited about Southwood's commitment to mission work in Lincoln and the world. She believes that in developing more opportunities for people to learn about the Bible, discipleship and Christian living, our commitment to mission will only grow. She is excited about finding new and creative ways to make the Bible connect to the everyday lives of people.
Ministries Coordinator
Andrea helps staff members plan and organize their ministries and maintains the church calendar. If you have a church event that you need to schedule Andrea can check availability for you.
Communications & Media Coordinator
Dan directs the communications of the church to help people get connected at Southwood by creating weekly bulletins, newsletters, digital signs and keeping the website up-to-date. On Sunday mornings he works with volunteers to keep the video systems running smoothly. Dan enjoys keeping the Southwood image fresh and appealing to current and prospective members.

Children's Ministry Coordinator
As Children’s Ministry Coordinator, Deb will work with the Director to lead, plan and organize the Children and Family Ministry Program. Deb is passionate about making Southwood a place of warmth, joy, happiness and peace for children. She is excited about helping them bloom and grow in their faith with God.
Director of Worship/Music, AiM
Denise oversees the entire music program including all music for the worship services (hymns, anthems, special music, prelude and postlude music.) She also directs the Senior Choir, Men’s Chorus, and oversees the Children’s Music Ministry. She loves sharing the Good News through music and playing the pipe organ.
Director of Youth Ministry
As the Interim Director of Youth Ministry, Drew will be working with the Middle and High school students. He will help coordinate the different youth activities ranging from Sunday School to missions trips. .
Director of Children and Family Ministry, AiM
As Director of Children and Family Ministry, Faye coordinates, recruits and supports various education programs including Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Advent Festival, Sunday School Outreach Projects and the Faith Stepping Stones program for families. Faye's passion is encouraging and providing support for parents as they guide their children's faith development.
Director of Ministries
As the Director of Ministries, Jo oversees the internal ministries of Southwood, including new member connections, volunteers who serve within the church, all children and youth programs and assists with the Small Group ministry. Her desire is that everyone who walks through the doors will feel part of a loving church family as we all grow in our love for God and others together.
Pastors' Assistant
Joyce is one of the first contacts when you call or stop by the church office. She serves as an assistant to all three pastors, coordinates Sunday morning volunteers, and maintains all membership records. If you have a question, she will be able to point you in the right direction!
Director of Administration/Finance, AiM
Lori is responsible for financial administration, facility administration, office management, purchasing, and personnel. Lori feels her most important task at Southwood is to make sure that we are being good stewards of everything that God has given us. We are so blessed!

As the Director of Missions, Nicole leads Southwood’s Community and Global Missions. She has a heart for serving and loves equipping and empowering people to grow in their faith and show God’s love in the world through serving Southwood’s missions of the church, the community and the world.
Ben & Jackie Schroetlin, Custodians
Ben and Jackie work hard behind the scenes, making sure that our church is clean and that all the rooms are set up as needed.
Jack Latta, Sound Technician
Runs and coordinates sound on Sunday mornings for an enjoyable listening experience in worship. He also oversees volunteers operating video equipment on Sunday mornings.
Kim Collier, Music Ministry Associate
Accompanies choirs, various small groups, soloists and assists in leading worship on the piano and organ.
Janet Chiocchi, Director of Bell Choir
Janet leads the Southwood Ringers adult handbell choir.
Penny Syfie and Maggie Latta, Nursery Staff
Our nursery staff loves kids and the kids love them back!
