Serve Locally

God is at work in our community, and Southwood joins in that work by equipping and empowering people to be the Body of Christ in the world by seeking to meet the needs of people in our community.

Hunger

God works through Southwood by providing over 70,000 meals each year to people in Lincoln this year through Southwood's ongoing partnerships. There are many ways to serve. We hope you’ll find the opportunity that best fits your schedule and your heart.

Mentoring

Southwood strives to be a connecting body of Christ, creating healthier communities by providing "Education" for a hand-up. Southwood volunteers help us achieve this mission in our community through youth mentoring relationships in partnerships with City Impact, Teammates and Saratoga Elementary School.

Medical

Southwood strives to be a connecting body of Christ, creating healthier communities by providing "Healing" both physically and spiritually. In partnership with Clinic with a Heart, last year our volunteers provided medical care to over 950 people in our community.

There were many tasks that we performed for the residents that were quite simple but the look of gratitude and joy that we received from each resident once we completed their tasks was very uplifting and heart warming."
