Greg Olson
Senior Pastor
As Senior Pastor, Pastor Greg directs and leads the church staff and works with leadership development within the church. He loves to preach and teach the faith. He believes that the church is at its best when it is grounded in worship, growing in faith and fellowship, and committed to serving the needs of the community and world. When God's people come together around a common cause the light of Christ shines bright, and lives are transformed. That's what makes serving at Southwood such a Joy!
Michael Ryan 
Associate Pastor
Pastor Michael Ryan is a husband, father of two children, and privileged to serve Southwood Lutheran as a pastor. Pastor Ryan is the Pastor of Prayer and Care. He will make every effort to be a supporting caring presence during crisis and significant times when made aware of them.
Sara Spohr
Associate Pastor
Pastor Sara leads Southwood's Small Group and Adult Education ministries. Sara is excited about Southwood's commitment to mission work in Lincoln and the world. She believes that in developing more opportunities for people to learn about the Bible, discipleship and Christian living, our commitment to mission will only grow. She is excited about finding new and creative ways to make the Bible connect to the everyday lives of people.
Lori Changstrom
Director of Administration/Finance, AiM
Lori is responsible for financial administration, facility administration, office management, purchasing, and personnel. Lori feels her most important task at Southwood is to make sure that we are being good stewards of everything that God has given us. We are so blessed!
Kim Turnage 
Director of Ministries
Kim leads Southwood's ministries, keeping them focused and aligned on the vision of helping people grow in their love for God and for others. She directs the communications of the church to help people get connected , and she works to make Southwood a welcoming place where people feel invited to take their next steps toward Christ. One of the things she loves most about her work is helping people unleash their gifts and abilities to serve others - at Southwood, in the larger community, and around the world.
Denise Makinson
Director of Worship/Music, AiM
As Director of Music, Denise oversees the entire music program including all music for the service (hymns, anthems, special music, prelude and postlude music.) She also directs the Senior Choir and Men's Chorus. She loves sharing the Good News through music and playing the pipe organ!
Faye Koehn 
Director of Children and Family Ministry, AiM
As Director of Children and Family Ministry, Faye coordinates, recruits and supports various education programs including Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Day Camp, Advent Festival, Sunday School Christmas Program, Sunday School Outreach Projects and the Faith Stepping Stones program for families. Faye's passion is encouraging and providing support for parents as they guide their children's faith development.
Chip Uhrmacher
Director of Youth Ministry
As Director of Southwood's Youth Ministry, Chip disciples the middle school and high school students of our church. He also leads our confirmation program, youth mission trips, service projects and the All-Stars Program. His heart is to see young people passionate about God and growing in their faith. He has a Master’s degree in Counseling and considers counseling youth and their families a big part of his ministry at Southwood.
Carrie Solomon Schultz
Director of Children's Music Ministry
Carrie Solomon Schultz is Director of Children's Music Ministries. She helps to coordinate large group Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, the annual Sunday School Christmas program, and youth music presentations for the worship service. She also is involved with scheduling workshops for the preschool through 5th grade on public school vacation days and other important church musical events.
Janet Chiocchi
Director of Bell Choirs
Janet leads two bell choirs, Southwood Ringers for adults and Good News Ringers for youth.
Joyce Scheffler
Secretary
Joyce is one of the first contacts when you call or stop by the church office. She also puts together the church newsletter, bulletin, handles correspondence, and updates membership records. If you have a question, she or her fellow secretary Andrea will be able to point you in the right direction!
Andrea Cruise
Communications Coordinator
Andrea is one of the first contacts when you call or stop by the church office. She also puts together the church newsletter, bulletin, handles correspondence, and updates membership records.
