Too Busy Not to Pray

  • Too Busy Not to PrayThis book is in our library

By Bill Hybels and Lavonne Neff

I recommend "Too Busy Not to Pray" because it was a tool that allowed me to find a "routine" for my prayer time, just as people find a routine for physical fitness, a routine for carpooling kids, etc. After reading this book and incorporating the ideas presented, I spend much more of my time in those "crucial conversations" with God. The book offers practical solutions to those of us who occasionally struggle to make prayer a priority amidst the chaos. —Jo Sheets

Pursuing Spiritual Transformation

  • Pursuing Spiritual Transformation SeriesOne copy of each study guide in this series is in our library

By John Ortberg, Laurie Pederson, Judson Poling

Explore fresh, biblically-based ways to think about and experience life with God through Willow Creek's Five G's: Grace, Growth, Groups, Gifts and Giving. This innovative six-part series challenges the notion that simply "trying harder" will lead to spiritual growth. Instead, you'll learn about the life-giving practices, experiences, and relationships God uses to transform us from the inside out.
