Who can ask an existential theological question one minute, and laugh at a ridiculous cat meme the next? Middle schoolers of course! Overwhelming activities, social hierarchy, and never-ending online media can leave middle school youth hungry for something deeply good, something to not only sustain them through the storms of growing up, but also to help them live into the joyful possibility of this time when they develop their identity. Southwood’s ministry with young people grounds them in faith as a key part of their identity. This not only helps them spiritually, but also helps them navigate the social challenges of growing up and finding their place in the world.
Our three-year DELVE (confirmation) program integrates faith mentors and consistent small groups.
To maintain effective class sizes, Southwood has registration the first Saturday in August. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. After open registration, please contact Morgan Tranmer or Drew Jagadich who will work with you to ensure your child finds a spot in DELVE.
